Kingston Water Tanks can arrange delivery for your water tanks to anywhere in metropolitan Melbourne. The delivery fee is not included in the water tank price. Please contact us for a quote (delivery price depends on the distance travelled and the water tank size and quantity).
Usually we can deliver your tank on the next business day after purchase.

We accept payment by the following methods:

The Victorian Government has increased incentives under the Water Smart Gardens and Homes Rebate Scheme.

The scheme rewards residential customers connected to a mains water supply for purchasing water-saving devices and services, thereby reducing their water consumption.

Households purchasing and installing a water tank from 1 January 2007 are now eligible for a rebate of up to $1000.

Water tanks can save up to 40,000 litres per household per year.

The rebate is based on the size of the tank and requires the tank to be connected to toilet and/or laundry facilities as follows:

• Rainwater Tanks, 2000 - 4999 litre capacity, connected to toilet and/or laundry $500 rebate
• Rainwater Tanks, 5000+ litre capacity, connected to toilet or laundry $900 rebate
• Rainwater Tank 5000+ litre capacity, connected to toilet and laundry $1000 rebate

Householders who have already claimed a tank rebate prior to 1 January 2007 are still eligible for a rebate for a large tank connected to the toilet and/or laundry.

The existing $150 rebate for tanks 600 litres or larger not connected for indoor use will still apply.

The rebates scheme is administered by the retail water authorities on behalf of the Government, in partnership with the Department of Sustainability and Environment.

The new tank rebates will be paid via a one-off Electronic Funds Transfer and should take around 10-12 weeks to process.

All other rebates under the existing Water Smart Garden and Homes rebate scheme will continue to be credited to your next water bill.

In certain situations, when your choice is not available in our current stock, you can initiate an advance order. You can pay a small amount as deposit to secure your order, and usually we will be able to supply your water tank in a few weeks time. We can arrange for one of our water tank installation specialists to give you a quote for water tank installation.

• Prepare the base for your water tank. The site must be level, cleared of rocks and smooth (the water tanks are made of polyethylene) and the tank placed on either a concrete slab (for any slimline watertanks) or a hundred mills of packing sand, boxed in.
• You can use a water tank stand if is designed by a competent persons an is suitable for your tank size.
• It is recommended to use a flexible pipe if you intend to attach a water pump (a gate valve or ball valve should be installed in the tank outlet).
• Full installation instructions are available on request or from the tank manufacturer.
